Balham Rainbow Nursery provides a stimulating and creative play environment where each activity is designed to capture your child’s imagination. We strongly believe that every child is unique and that their learning journey should follow a pattern that best suits their individual personality.
This journey is about you as much as it is about your child. Our aim is not only to provide a happy and stimulating environment for your child, but to also make parents lives as easy as possible. Therefore, we provide an all-inclusive service for your child where nappies, wipes, formula milk, meals, learning and happiness are included.
Balham Rainbow Nursery is a home, a castle, a spaceship, a boat, a place filled with fun and imagination for our growing learners.
The nursery is separated into two big, open-plan rooms, for children aged 0-2 and 2-5. Each room is kitted out with resources appropriate to, and challenging for, the age group. With the help of a very talented local artist, the space has been designed in a way that appeals to children and stimulates their imaginations, and kids are always delighted by the fun murals of animals on a variety of London transport vehicles!
Curriculum
During their time with us we provide rich curriculum to help children develop respect for one another and become active, creative, emotionally aware independent individuals.
Fees
We aim to be transparent and fair in our pricing, and always offer competitive rates for the area.
Meals
We provide a healthy and nutritionally balanced menu which rotates on a three-weekly basis and changes seasonally to offer the freshest and tastiest fruits and vegetables.
Meet Our Senior Staff
Balham Rainbow Nursery is staffed by people who love children and are committed to facilitating their safety, development and happiness. Everyone on our enthusiastic and dedicated team is either fully qualified or actively working towards a recognised childcare qualification, and many also have specialist certification in areas like Child Protection, First Aid and Food Hygiene.
Flavia
Senior Manager
Flavia joined us in 2020 and quickly progressed through the company, formally being promoted to Manager in July 2023. She had previously filled a management role at our Crystal Palace setting and now oversees both nurseries.
Kirsty
Manager
Kirsty joined Balham Rainbow Nursery in 2019 working in the baby room with her favourite age group. She quickly showed her organisational skills and was promoted to Room Leader. In 2023 we were pleased to offer her the Deputy Manager position, and Manager in 2024.
